Kate Kobosko

Kate Kobosko is a writer and educator currently living in South Carolina. She earned her MFA in poetry from Emerson College in 2021. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in Autofocus, Humana Obscura, Saltbush Review, Kelp Journal, and others. Her poem “Not Her Ocean” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2023.

Kate (she/her) is a writer and educator currently living in Charleston, SC. She earned her undergraduate degree from Eckerd College, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Eckerd Review. She also earned the Spirit of the Creative Arts Award and the Mason Daly Poetry Award upon graduation. Then, she moved to snowy Boston to earn her MFA from Emerson College. She has since been published in Autofocus, Humana Obscura, Saltbush Review, Kelp Journal, and others. Her poem “Not Her Ocean” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2023. Kate loves the ocean, reading fiction, surfing, teaching, yoga, walking by the water, and her cat Gator.
